If you love Lee Child and you#re looking for something new to keep you going, then Tom Wood is the man for you. His character, Victor, has made an appearance in four previous novels but I've only just discovered him - and now I've read them all.
Victor (no past, no surname) is a gun for hire - cold, clinical, and supremely efficient. He's an expert at martial arts, hand to hand combat, and a crack sniper- with all the skills that a ruthless assassin needs to constantly watch his own back - and to put bullets in the backs of other people. And he is, of course, tall, very fit and easy on the eye.
Victor works alone, taking on cases where his role is not to question the assignment, but simply to deliver the result he's being paid for. So there#s loads of car chases, fist fights, tight corners and acts of super human strength. Pace and action galore!
