Players develop the area around Carcassonne and deploy their followers on the roads, in the cities, in the cloisters, and in the fields while creating a perfect city landscape. Each turn the area becomes larger and players may deploy their followers as thieves, farmers, knights and monks to control and score points. With each tile placed, strategies will be tested and the skill of the players will determine who stands victorious. Includes free mini expansions: The River and The Abbot.
